Blue Line
Blue Line is a third person Action-Adventure game that focus on three characters, Ilya, Yerik and Tallulah(Fishman) and the conflict between two species. The same conflict makes them explore the valley in search of a way to stop the war between Tritões and Humans.
Each character has a unique ability, therefore the level design needs to be made with each character in mind. That means some places may only be accessed with the use of a specific character ability, that is the basis of Blue Line's Level Design.

During most of the playtime of Blue Line the player explores the interior of a cathedral built by Tritões, fishmen that live in the blue valley. This cathedral is used as a hub to the player connecting almost every room and level in the game. The rooms themselves are maze-like and require the player to explore them, one room at a time, it works similar to a dungeon in the legend of zelda series.
Aesthetics
The aesthetics of Blue Line were inspired by the Gamecube classic, Legend of Zelda The Windwaker, due to its excessive use of the cell shading technique or even the texture work. The theme itself is based on the architecture style Manuelino, a Portuguese adaptation of the gothic architecture, the biggest changes being in the decorative elements, Manuelino uses plenty of water themed elements like anchors, knots and algae etc… This architecture style was chosen due to the origin of the cathedral, being built by fishmen as well as being not commonly represented in video-games.
